Getting a price shouldn't be hard work
Four steps, most of it from your phone. Here's exactly what happens between sending your job and getting it done.
From your phone to a clear quote in four simple steps
Many jobs can be quoted from a good description and a few photographs, so you often won't need to wait in for a quotation visit. Where a job needs more information — or we need to see it in person — we'll say so before anything is arranged.
- Step 1
Tell Us What You Need
Choose a service and describe the job — in your own words is fine.
- Step 2
Upload Photos
Take or upload photos directly from your phone.
- Step 3
Receive Your Quote
Woody reviews the information and provides a price, or asks for anything else that's needed.
- Step 4
Book Your Visit
Once you're happy, arrange a suitable appointment.
Submitting a request doesn’t book anything — you’ll get a price first.
What makes a photo useful
You don't need a good camera — you need the right angles. Four quick shots are usually plenty.
- 01One wider shot showing the whole area or room
- 02One close-up of the part that's damaged or needs fitting
- 03Anything unusual — old fixings, tiles, awkward access
- 04A photo of the product packaging if you've already bought it
Where you stand at each point
A request, not a booking
Submitting the form starts a conversation. Nothing is confirmed, charged or scheduled until you have a price and you've agreed to it.
Photos save a visit
Many jobs can be priced from photos alone, which usually means you don't have to wait in for a separate quotation visit.
Send the whole list
If you have five small jobs, send all five. We'll tell you what can realistically be completed in one visit.
If something changes
If what we find on the day differs significantly from the photos, we'll stop, explain it and agree how to proceed before doing extra work.
Tell Woody what needs doing
Send a description, a few photos and your postcode. We'll review it and come back to you with a price — no obligation, nothing booked until you're happy.
